When importing Stata 13 files using the DBMS=DTA engine, you might receive the following error: The problem occurs because the DTA engine does not support this type of file. To circumvent the problem, save the file as an earlier release of Stata (Version 12 or earlier) or save the file as a tab-delimited file.
